How Reducing this 1 Nutritional Variable Can Help You Lose 3 to 5 Pounds in 1 Week!

Today, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I’m going to explain to you why you’re not losing weight even though you’re watching your diet and training hard. You see, the real culprits to not achieving your weight loss goals are the small things like sugar and salt. It’s the processed and packaged foods that have been labeled “healthy” but when you look closely, it’s not so healthy. Sure, the calories might be dead on with your weight loss goals but if you look closely at the label and read the line item “sodium” you will notice something very odd. Chances are the sodium levels will be extremely high. Excessive sodium is the real diet killer and one of the main reasons people stop losing weight. Excessive sodium causes you to hold onto more water which basically keeps toxins in your body.

Here’s an example. I took a peek at the sodium levels of a lean cuisine (The frozen, pre made diet dishes) and the sodium levels per serving were 560 milligrams! What?! This is a third of what you should be consuming in terms of sodium…in one serving. It’s no wonder people have a hard time losing weight, most rely on these types of “healthy” pre-made meals not realizing that the excessive sodium is the cause of them not losing weight. Kind of ironic when you think about it. . Remember this, any food that has higher than 300 milligrams of sodium per serving will be more processed and will keep you fat. Ideally, foods with sodium levels under 200 milligrams per serving will be closer to its whole, organic state and will be better for your fat loss efforts.

With that in mind, I’m going to provide you with a method to drop about 3 to 5 pounds in the first week while allowing your muscles to harden up. Essentially, what we’re going to do is draw out all the water and toxins from your body and replace it with quality nutrients.
The first thing you need to do is get your sodium intake to under 1.5 grams per day.

The second thing you need to do is drink at least one gallon of water per day.

The third thing you need to do is flush out the excess water and get your body used to not relying on excessive sodium. By eliminating the toxins and excess water from your body you will kick start your fat loss program and get it on the right track. This will take a week or two but once your body eliminates excess sodium it will start to look and feel a whole lot better. Also, once you draw out the excess water from your body your entire muscle structure will harden up (provided the rest of your diet is working). To do this, we’ll need to use a supplement to help draw out the water. I usually use Ripped Freak (Diuretic) by PharmaFreak for the first week to really draw out the water.  

Trust me, if you can do these 3 things you will drop 3 to 5 pounds in one week, harden your muscles up and you will feel 100% better. Does this sound good? Awesome, let’s get started. What I’m going to do is provide you with a 3 day meal plan (complete with grocery list). This plan is based on a 1,200 daily calorie protocol and will help get your sodium intake under control (under 1.5 grams per day). I will also build in certain supplements which will help eliminate excess water from your body and tell you how much water you should be drinking.
