Dymatize Xpand Review

I’ve been using Dymatize Xpand for about 3 months now and I must say, the results have been quite surprising.

I’ve used other creatine products in the past and nothing has come close to the results that I have experienced with this product.

I’ve used creatine for over 7 years now and without a question, this product has been the best I’ve tried. Dymatize Xpand is a relatively new creatine product and has been on the market for the past year or so.

When I first walked into the health food store, I was going in to buy my creatine standard, which was Phosphagen HP. I was so used to using other traditional creatine products such as Phosphagen and others that I wasn’t going to try anything new.

I have to admit, I had my reservations about Dymatize Xpand but after reading the label I decided to give it a shot.

The price tag for this particular product came in at $80.00 Canadian. At first, I was shocked at the price. I mean, c’mon $80 bucks for a bottle of creatine? However, after reading the label and comparing it to other products, I went for it.

Well, I’m glad that I did. This has been without a question the best creatine product that I have tried. After only a couple of days of using this product, I immediately started to feel a difference. My strength dramatically increased and I knew something felt different. I’ve tried other creatine products in the past and I knew what brands worked but this was something totally different.

After two and a half weeks, there was no disputing the results. Instead of doing my usual 10 reps in the incline bench press, I was doing 15 reps. I wasn’t expecting this kind of strength increase and it was quite surprising to tell you the truth. All of my lifts increased by at least 10 – 15 percent. This was a huge increase! After three months, my workouts have never been better and my strength and size gains are steady.

Now, what’s so great about Dymatize’s Xpand?

This supplement falls under the new generation of creatine products. There are a number of “new generation” creatine products on the market today and this is one of the few I have tried.

The main ingredient in Dymatize Xpand is creatine. However, they use a combination of malic acid and creatine monohydrate to form tri-creatine malate. This product is said to increase the bio-availability of creatine in the muscle. In other words, more creatine is actually stored in the muscle than other conventional methods.

The active ingredients in Dymatize’ Xpand are tri-creatine (a form of creatine), arginine alpha ketoglutarate (AAKG), taurine, and glutamine. According to the label, Dymatize Xpand is designed to create mind blowing pumps, maximize creatine uptake and allow for ultimate muscle recovery.

Does Dymatize Xpand create mind blowing pumps? Well, I have to say, my pumps have never been better. AAKG (No2) might have something to do with the pumps but based on the research I’ve done, there hasn’t been any conclusive evidence to support this claim.

What I can say is that my pumps have indeed improved. However, I can’t say for certainty that it’s because of the AAKG. Now, this product uses 3 grams of Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (A-AKG) per serving which is double that of other top brands.

Since this product is relatively new, there hasn’t been any studies done on this combination of tri-creatine malate and A-AKG. I’m very weary of supplements that haven’t been tested or studied and I always try to stay away from such products.

But, I guess you can say that I’ve carried out my own experiments and I’ve tested it over a three month period. The results are way beyond what I was expecting and go way beyond the traditional creatine products of the past 7 years that I have used. Here’s the bottom line:

If you’re looking for a product that will greatly enhance your training – This product can help.

The best time for me to take this product is 30 minutes before my workout and immediately after my workout. I follow this up with a protein/carb drink. Another plus for this product is that you don’t have any loading phase.

No need to take 5 servings of creatine for two weeks. Simply use one serving before and after each workout and one serving on non workout days.

This creatine product gets a top rating: 9 out of 10
