Why treadmills?
Treadmill exercise is the fastest growing fitenss activity in the country.
With an ever growing
population getting fit, more and more people are turning to the treadmill. Year after year,
treadmills gain more and more popularity.
Why are treadmills so popular? Convenience! Treadmills are very convenient for busy people who
just don't have the time to go jogging or take a walk around the block. With a treadmill, you
simple hop on the track, press a button and off you go.
Treadmills are a great way to get into shape and burn fat. As with exercise bikes , treadmills
allow you to workout on your own terms without having to worry about rain, snow, sleet, cars,
or crazy dogs.
You simple hop on your treadmill, put on your headphones and have a nice walk, light jog or an
intense run. The good thing about the treadmill is that you have total control over which way
you want to exercise.
You can enjoy a nice, brisk walk or you can run up a hill, it's your choice. Quality treadmills
allow you to fully customize your workout giving you the flexibility to exercise on your terms.
You could say that treadmill workouts burn about the same number of calories as walking or
running outdoors does. Treadmills are especially popular in crowded cities and are great for
beginners because they require little coordination to use.
Treadmills are also very accommodating to even the most out of shape exercisers. People with
back pain, weak ankles, and bad knees find treadmills a lot easier on the joints than cement
or concrete.
You will also find that today's treadmills are springier and more shock absorbing than that of
previous models.
Treadmills are quite handy to have. You don't have to worry about rain, snow, or sleet and you
can watch your favourite T.V program or watch the kids while going for a leisurely walk or jog.
If you have never jogged before, a treadmill can act as a nice transition from walking to
jogging.
Personally, I use the treadmill on my days off in between my weightlifting routine. It provides
a great low impact cardio workout that really gets my wind going.

I'm not going to lie to you. Treadmills can be expensive. What you want to remember is that
you want a treadmill that has durability, range, comfort, and the necessary features. Although
it's important to note that it is vital that you find a treadmill which has the necessary frame
