Help! I Dont Know What Supplements To Take!A Personal Look At What Works And What Doesnt I often get emails from people wanting to know what my supplement stacks are and how they can work for them. The first thing that I can say is that supplements play a secondary role to my primary muscle builder - Which is food. Now, I wont add my supplement cycle until I know my diet is working and everything is going fine. This period is usually 2 to 4 weeks. After this period, I will add my supplement stack. However, Im not going to get into what kinds of foods I eat on a daily basis because thats not what you want to hear right now. What I will tell you is that Ive tried all kinds of different supplements with limited success. Most have been a complete waste of time and money while others have worked like a charm. Ive come to the conclusion that you have to take an educated guess when you are thinking of trying out a supplement. You can go to the review boards on the internet and take a look at what others are saying about a certain supplement but in all honesty, most of these reviews are bogus. To really get an idea if a supplement will work is to make sure all your variables are in line. That is, you have to make sure your diet is in place with regular meals and you have a sound weight training program. If you dont have this down yet, stay away from all supplements and work on your diet and weight training program. Believe me, the best supplement in the world (including anabolics) won't work if you dont have your diet down and your weight training program in place. Alright, assuming you have your diet and training program in place, you are ready for a supplement stack. Let me tell you what Im currently using and how they work for me. Im not a supplement freak with pills and bottles everywhere. I only use what works and usually one experimental supplement which I review on a monthly basis - Which you can find out on my website. Alright, lets go over what works for me. Here is my schedule: 7:00 AM: 2 Glasses of water with 10 grams of glutamine 7:30 AM: First meal - As soon as I eat my first meal I take an Animal Pak from Universal. You simply cannot beat this multi vitamin/mineral pak. A must for hard training athletes. 9:30 AM: Second meal of the day: Protein Drink - Ive been using Mega Milk from Dymatize and I couldnt be happier. 11:45 AM: Third meal of the day 1:30 PM: Two serving of Dymatize Xpand or Nutrabolics NOZ. Ill use whatever one is available. Ive also been taking Endothil CR and I am please with the results thus far. Ill be doing a full review on this supplement shortly. 2:15 PM: Workout 3:15 PM: Post workout drink (Third meal of the day): One serving of Mega Milk from Dymatize. A fantastic post workout drink. 4:30 PM: Fourth meal of the day. 6:30 PM: Fifth meal of the day 8:45 PM Sixth meal of the day: Protein Drink - One serving of Mega Milk from Dymatize. 9:45 PM: 1 glass of water with 10 grams of glutamine. 10:15 PM: Bed Prior to each meal, I take 4 liver tabs. Ive been doing this for years and all I can say is that these little things will work like magic if you follow a sound diet. In case your wondering what my experimental supplement is, it's the Endothil CR. Heres a break down of the supplements on my current list: Dymatize Mega Milk This is it. Its nothing fancy but it works. Remember, if your going to try a supplement out, give it at least 8 weeks to take effect and buy enough for at least 2 months. One month is simply not enough time to truly find out if a supplement really works. If your looking for something that will give you results in two weeks, your living in a dream world. All the best, Blake
