PhD Pharma Whey And Reflex Whey Protein Review

image for phd pharma whey protein powder

The products for this review are:

- PhD Pharma Whey

- Reflex Instant Whey

The cost for Phd pharma whey is £31.99 and the Refles goes for about £30.79. The Phd Pharma Whey provided good results but the taste could be alot better.

The Reflex Instant Whey also provided good recovery results and taste. If I had to rate these two out of 5, I'd give PhD Pharma Whey a 4 (if you're not worried about the taste - However, you will get good results)

I'd rate the Reflex Instant Whey a 3 (not bad taste)

*Editors Note*

The Phd Pharma Whey comes in a 2.27 KG container and goes for about £38.00 ($62 USD and $65 CAD). According to the label, each 25 gram serving delivers the following:

• 100 calories
• 20 grams of protein
• 3.5 grams of carbohydrates - 1.65 grams from sugar - 250 mg of fibre
• 2.64 grams of fat - 1.04 from saturates
• 500 mg of taurine
• 150 grams of glutamine

There are approximately 91 servings in each container at a cost of £.42 ($.67 USD and $.70 CAD). The protein mainly derives from whey concentrate and whey isolate. In terms of cost effectiveness, it's pretty good for a 25 grams serving. However, most of us will need double that for a single serving. This will cut the servings per can in half and double the price per serving.

Reflex Instant Whey is manufactured by a comapny called Reflex Nutrition. A 5 LB (2.27 KG) container goes for about £35.00. According to the label, each 25 gram serving contains the following:

• 93 calories
• 20 grams of protein
• 1 gram of carbohydrates
• 1.3 grams of fat

For each 5 LB container, you get about 91 servings (for each 25 gram serving). The cost per serving is about £.38 ($.62 USD and $.65 CAD), which is pretty good for a 25 gram serving. However, like the Phd Pharma Whey, we need double that for muscle growth, per serving. Taking this into account, the amount of servings gets cut in half and the price per serving doubles.
