Tasty Oatmeal Breakfast And Almond Chocolate Post Workout Shake

For this month's recipe, I have three for you. The first one is an simple oatmeal breakfast that I personally use almost every morning. The second is a tasty post workout drink that is super delicious and the third is a cool down drink which is perfect for the hot summer.

Oatmeal Breakfast

• 1 cup slow cooking oats;
• 1/4 cup raisins - I like sultans;
• 1/4 cup strawberries - sliced into small cuts;
• 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt;
• 1 tsp brown sugar;
• 1 whole wheat toast

Cook oatmeal according to package directions. Add raisins and cook until done. Pour into a serving bowl and add yogurt on top with strawberries. Add brown sugar. Serve with toast.

Almond Chocolate Post Workout Shake

• 1 scoop of protein powder - Whey isolate;
• ½ to 3/4 cup skim milk;
• 1 tsp of dextrose, or stevia or other sugar alternative;
• 1 tablespoon of instant coffee;
• 7 almonds - unsalted if possible;
• 1 tsp lecithin;
• 1/4 tsp of almond extract - if possible;
• ½ cup of cubes

Add all the ingredients except protein powder and ice and mix well. Once mixed, add ice and protein powder and mix on high until smooth.

All the best,

Blake
