Life Fitness Elliptical Trainers

Life fitness is a well respected name in the fitness industry providing both, quality home fitness products and commercial fitness equipment.

Life fitness has been around for close to 3 decades and is now owned by The Brunswick Corporation.

The Brunswick Corporation is a fortune 500 company that provides leading sport leisure products that includes fitness.

Life Fitness has a proven success record providing state of the art fitness equipment. Their fitness equipment includes Hammer Strength and Parabody Fitness Equipment - Both are very common to most mainstream gyms in North America.

Their first piece of exercise equipment was called the “Life Cycle”. Now, If you’ve ever been on an exercise bike in your local gym, chances are, you were on a life cycle. The life cycle is a staple of most gyms across North America and very popular worldwide.

Life Fitness is constantly researching and testing their fitness equipment. They spend more than any other fitness equipment manufacturer (15 million/year) on research and development for new products. They are constantly testing product designs in order to get the most from their fitness equipment.

Life Fitness elliptical trainers come in commercial and consumer availability. There are 6 consumer life fitness elliptical trainers. They are:

• Life fitness X1 elliptical trainer;
• Life fitness X3 elliptical trainer;
• Life fitness X35 elliptical trainer;
• Life fitness X5 elliptical trainer;
• Life fitness X5i elliptical trainer;
• Life fitness X9i elliptical trainer.

The Life Fitness elliptical trainer entry model is the X1. The x1 is the cheapest consumer elliptical model that life fitness offers that has little in terms of features but high on quality components and construction. The life fitness X1 doesn’t have all the high end frills but is very well made and the price is reflective of that quality.

At the high end, there is the life fitness X9i which is their signature series. The X9i model offers commercial grade materials, construction, and features.

Each model from the X1 to the X9i is a progressive step up from the most basic (X1) to the very high end (X9i). All models in between offer a little more in terms features.

Warranty for the life fitness elliptica trainers are as follows:

Frame: Lifetime
Parts: 3 years
Labor: 1 years
30 day return policy

The warranty is comparable to high end exercise equipment manufacturers. I would have to say that this warranty package is pretty good. Although not as solid as Precor’s warranty package, overall, this is a warranty that says the company stands behind it’s product.

I’ve been a big fan of Life Fitness products for quite some time. In fact, the life cycle was the very first exercise bike that I really liked and their elliptical trainers are second to none. A Life Fitness product is built to last and the price you pay is for quality.

Below you will find comprehensive reviews of the life fitness elliptical trainers.
