Eclipse elliptical trainers

The eclipse elliptical trainer is a brand named trademark of the Fitness Quest Inc.

Fitness Quest manufactures affordable home exercise and fitness products and you’ve probably even seen some of their products on t.v.

They own the ab lounge, easy shaper, Tony Little's Gazelle, and the total gym.

I’m sure you’ve seen Tony Little on his Gazelle on the late night infomercial.

Up until a few years ago, you couldn’t get a Fitness Quest product at a retail store - They were strictly a T.V sales oriented company. However, now you can get most of their products at your local Kmart or Sears.

The eclipse elliptical trainer is a low end budget elliptical trainer. Their elliptical trainers range in price from $329 to $549. They offer:

• Eclipse 1000 HR elliptical trainer - $329
• Eclipse 1100 HR elliptical trainer - $349
• Eclipse 1100 HR A elliptical trainer - $349
• Eclipse 2100 HR A elliptical trainer - $394
• Eclipse 4100 HR A elliptical trainer - $549

I’m not a big fan of infomercial type of exercise equipment. However, when I reviewed the eclipse line of elliptical trainers, they seem to be tough little elliptical trainers. They are a very compact and light elliptical trainer that are meant for light use. All of the eclipse elliptical trainers weight under 110 pounds so they are very light and very transportable.

The warranty on the eclipse line of elliptical trainer is a little more solid than other low end elliptical trainers. Eclipse offers a 1 year warranty on all of their elliptical trainers. They do offer a 30 day return policy in which they will pay for the shipping costs. Most of the warranties that I’ve looked at for elliptical trainers under $500 only offer a 90 day warranty.

My general impressions of the eclipse elliptical trainer is that they are an entry level, low budget elliptical trainer meant for light use. They are very compact and light with very small frames. I would say that larger individuals might have a hard time working with the eclipse since the frame is so small and the elliptical stride is 15".

Overall, the value for the eclipse elliptical trainer is pretty good. I think for under $500, you can do a lot worse than an eclipse elliptical trainer.
