I would just like to say thank you for all of the help you guys have provided me. When I decided to start exercising and getting in shape I found that nearly every place I looked was asking me to pay anywhere from $50 to $130 to get in depth instructions on the workout regime. As someone who is just getting started it seems outright ludicrous to pay for something I don't even know will be worth it. I am so happy I found your site.
I have only been training for a couple months but have started seeing some results and am eager to see where this takes me. Even my girlfriend who always claimed she "didn't like guys with muscles" is starting to notice. You provide so much information on every aspect of training from exercises and supplements which I realized were important, to nutrition which I knew relatively nothing about.
The best part about this program is the quality of the information. I don't feel like i'm being pushed to buy anything. I just feel like I'm getting straight up facts from someone who knows what they are talking about. I like how the program focuses on compound movements and free weights to build overall body strength with the 2 workouts alternating over 3 days then moves into 3 individual workouts to more isolate the muscle groups and gives tips to improve your workout.

Hi Blake: I am finishing up a cycle on the "Increase my bench press" routine from your site. What an outstanding way to make gains in this exercise. I will be 48 years old in the next 2 weeks and I am benching more now than I did in high school and College.
Your thoughtful approach to body building and strength training is right on. I spent years in the gym over training and stagnating. I'm finally making the gains I wish I had made years earlier. I was looking for a home work-out routine that I could fit into my busy life style. I came across your website and the Dumbbell Workout Routine while searching the net.
I bought myself a set of dumbbells, a barbell and a chin up bar. I have been using your routines since last July and have followed your tips with throwing in different exercisers to vary my routine, as well as adding a little extra weight.
At my age I don't want to have a body like Charles Atlas but your website has helped me really tone up and get into shape.
P.S. An added bonus is the admiring looks from women. (Sounds big headed I know, but it really boosts my confidence when out socialising)
Hey Blake, just wanted to drop you an email and give my thanks for taking the time to put your site together. About three months back I decided to start trying to get into better shape in advance of the birth of my first child (maybe live to be a grandfather), and so I've been spending an hour three or four days a week at a local running track, making sure to get 10,000 steps a day and at least 20 flights of stairs.
For my workout I start with a pretty vigorous full body stretching and pushup routine and then do a slow run for about half an hour. I've also cut out beer and junk food and have been trying to stick to whole grains when I eat carbs. I've dropped around 10 kg and am definitely starting to see some tone, but I wanted to start taking the weight training a little more seriously. I
found your site and have been amazed at just how much detailed and useful information there is. Next week I plan to start training using the incredibly comprehensive beginners guide on your site. I look forward to letting you know how it goes!

I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you thank you. Unlike you I worked out from time to time, but only got really serious over the past 4 years or so. After taking a new job, I thought hey maybe I will ditch my 4 day workout and shoot for a 5 day workout. After a quick Google search I found building-muscle 101.
Let me say that I am very very very happy. In the past I would say I was fairly strong...Squat over 400, leg press 1100, bench just under 300, etc. Then I found your program! WOW...I am super happy with the results. In the beginning I could not get through your entire program. I would complain and think who the hell does this guy think he is trying to do so much crap in one session? But you know what? I am not a quitter. And it has been less than a year on your program and I can do everything in your 5 day workout schedule! (I skip the cardio, but I take classes to get my cardio in) I was pushing to break the 240 mark, but it just wasn't in the cards. So as my wife and I do every year (a cleanse if you will) we give up meat, caffeine, alcohol, and other vices.
I went from 238 to about 222 in less than 3 weeks. Well after finishing that I took another hard look at your program and decided to keep doing it as opposed to changing. It was a great decision. I now have (somewhat of) a six pack, very nice arms and I am overall very satisfied. Hell, even big work out guys in the gym are noticing the gains!
