It doesn't matter if you've been weight training for 2 weeks or 20 years, muscle soreness is something that you have to get used to. I've been doing this for over 20 years and as I write these very words, my legs are stiff and sore from the squats I did last night. You want to know something? I enjoy the feeling. No, I'm not crazy - it's just that I know I did something right last night because otherwise, my body wouldn't be telling me that it needs to build and recover.
